Frankie Gets Party Perfect

Frankie is a series of children’s books covering a diverse range of topics around identity that I made for the Batsford Prize 2022. Frankie is a little ghost who is feeling a little lost in their world. Within this issue, you join Frankie in preparing for a party. They need help with finding and testing clothes for the party that fit Frankie best. I designed Frankie to be gender ambiguous, using they/them pronouns so that the child can relate easily to the character, and change it as they see fit.
