Ghetts - Rebel With A Cause

My role was label manager at the newly founded Disrupt Records. Our first release was ‘Rebel With A Cause’ by Grime MC legend, Ghetts. We created a campaign that was authentic, original and true to the Grime scene. We collaborated with other established grime artists, online platforms and the mainstream channels to gain the support and momentum to receive more commercial success. Within our first year we managed to achieve our first (and Ghetts’) official chart placement at #23, collecting several award nominations and achieving a sold out UK tour. We also launched the #RWAC app featuring a variety of unreleased material and the momentum 2 mixtape.
