Hackajob: a data-driven recruitment platform that matches top digital talent with companies.
Brief
Create animations to convey the simplicity of using Hackajob. The style needed to resonate with the target audience (developers) without coming across as ‘in your face’ marketing and without being too masculine and techy. The animations were to be used as part of a Facebook ad campaign targeted at relevant people.
Solution
Bright colours and bold typography to grab attention. Subtle use of coding symbols in the initial frame to help give the text context. The gradients, shapes and movements used are visual references to current trends in UI design. This uses a visual language that many developers will recognise. Animation has been used to help simplify the information and make it easy to follow. The brand logo is featured within the first 3 seconds of the animation to make sure people see the company name, and to bring further context to the message.
