Hammerson Plc 'Premium washrooms' The Bullring, Birmingham

Ian led the Amalgam team commissioned to develop a new design concept that will create ‘Premium washrooms and family rooms’, for Hammerson's UK and French estate. The new concept aims to meet Hammerson’s aspiration “To provide 5 star facilities across our portfolio which will give our shoppers a world class experience”. The first ‘pilot’ schemes have opened in The Bullring Birmingham, adjacent to Selfridges The facilities are on two floors and include Female, Male, Unisex disabled / baby change blocks as well as a new Changing Places facility. Ian & his Amalgam colleague Paul Gallagher developed a set of guidelines based upon the pilot projects, these will be used for the roll out of future Hammerson washroom schemes.
