Hello, Robot. exhibition V&A Dundee

  • Lidia Molina Whyte

Gaia is a short story commissioned by the V&A Dundee as part of the museum's Hello, Robot. exhibition. By using an AI's records of the conversations it has with the family that owns it, Gaia examines how female-coded AIs can reinforce harmful gender stereotypes and create an expectation of submission from women. Illustration by Sean Mulvenna. You can read the whole story here: https://www.vam.ac.uk/dundee/articles/hello-robot-flash-fiction-gaia
