INSIDE OUT

For my final major project, I have responded to the title ‘inside out’, a theme initially inspired by Fauvism but then later predominantly influenced by the Bauhaus. Colour and shape are at the core of my project and were explored via collage and mark-making. My intention was to keep my use of colour fresh and crisp in order for it to sit effortlessly within a luxury home. I used hand and digital print techniques on hard and soft surfaces in conjunction with Jacquard weaving to create a coherent collection on a variety of natural materials.
