ISTD Student Assessment 2020 | MISTD JOURNEY

I attended this year’s programme and learnt new professional layout and typographic skills, resulting in me passing the induction process and becoming an ISTD member. As part of this process, I designed a book, interpreted through the lens of astronomy. The layout of Dante’s poem became the celestial orbits, trajectories of astronomical bodies and included a stairway to heaven. The book opens vertically and the belly banner operates as a contents page.
