Background Being useful has been a key task of business in Ukraine. Being useful to customers, volunteers, armed forces, medicians, firefighters etc. Ukrainians became the first largest source of funding for many volunteer initiatives. In 3 days, we were able to collect millions of dollars. Problem Over time, donations began to decrease, and the state faced a new challenge: how to stimulate Ukrainians to keep donating? Mastercard paid attention to this trend and came up with an initiative to motivate Ukrainians to make donations more regular and promote the idea of help in general. It was the beginning of a colab of Mastercard + the Ministry of Social Policy + the charity platform eDopomoga + the State Post Office. Idea The marketing agency Adsapience was responsible for developing the initiative. The team proposed to use a trend that gained popularity thanks to the State Post Office that issue regularly unique stamps dedicated to significant events and victories of Ukrainians during the war. Therefore, to motivate Ukrainians to donate more often, Mastercard has used just sets of unique stamps specially created by Ukrainian illustrators. Brief Adsapience turned to Taker | Maker with a request to select several illustrators who would create the "Help Legion" asap. Images should be recognizable to donors. Everyone, looking at the stamp, had to recognize himself / herself in the image. Process Within 2 days, Taker | Maker selected 11 illustrators who matched the style and were ready to work asap. After the test task, Adsapience selected 6 illustrators and presented them to Mastercard. 2 illustrators were assigned to work on the project. Regarding the mechanics of the project: - registration on the eDopomoga platform - make an online donation with a Mastercard - for every 5 donations, a set of stamps was guaranteed - who donated the most received a merch set: stamps, envelope, postcard, hoodie and shopping bag.
