Me& Magazine is a quarterly world culture and arts magazine, an international collection of stories made to be enjoyed like a coffee-table book. Me& runs articles and photography from four different locations on four themes each issue as well as artwork from local artists and mood boards made of disposable pictures taken by the city’s people. We strive to have as much content as possible created by residents or former residents of the spots we pick to tell stories from local, in-depth perspectives and experiences. Our aim is to tell stories that are not being told, or at least, in ways that they have not been told. About Me& you& everybody we know. The magazine was started up by two journalism students (Defne Saricetin, Josephine Schulte) from the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London. Currently, our team consists of six people as well as many freelancers from around the world. The coming together of photographers, writers and artists make the magazine a place of cultural expression and information to a generation of curious and creative contributors and readers. Our Issue Zero titled Me& Europe features four cities; London, Berlin, Istanbul and Budapest and narrates their cultures in four sections; politics, art, history and, inspiring citizen profiles.
