I was part of a team of over 20 social media managers during the 'My Travel Song' campaign in January 2017 which ran for 7 days in the offices of Publicis in Paris. Participants were invited to share their favourite songs and our job was to recommend an interesting destination to tie in with their chosen song title or artist.
The campaign attracted a lot of attention, generating 693,000 interactions across facebook, instagram and twitter and giving AccorHotels the chance to discuss music and travel with over 2,800 participants while recruiting more than 6,800 new followers for its social media accounts. In total over 5,600 travel destinations were suggested to match participants’ musical tastes.
