New Call Open 2021 ! What does the word HOPE mean to you?

Happy New Year to you all from @_original_magazine We are kicking off 2021 with a new Open Call with the theme “Hope”. With the start of a new year and fresh optimism, we want to offer creatives from across all disciplines a chance to share a body of work that they feel represents this new theme. The word hope can mean and be interpreted in many ways and we are excited to see how you all incorporate this within your own work. This could be related to seeing family and friends, the new vaccine and the end of what has been a turmoil time with Covid-19, climate change, new presidency and hope for a better year personally, professionally and/or mentally. The Open Call will run from 4th January - 25th January 2021 and we encourage all artists to submit including; creative writers, poets, photographers, painters etc. Our aim is always to try showcase as many artists from various disciplines and backgrounds with a keen eye on emerging talent and students. How to submit? This process unlike some can not be anymore straight forward. To submit please send an email or WeTransfer link to info@originalmagazine.uk with a collection of images (5-10 images maximum). Alternatively you can always use our submission form on our website (see link below). If your work is in the form of a video please ensure that this is no longer than 7 minutes long and sent as an MP4 file please. Along with your submission ensure you have a short bio and written context/synopsis describing your project for us to accompany the images. Also send all relevant social media links and your website link if you have one. We will endeavour to get back to you all if you are successful or not!
