Nike Air Force 1 - 'Deconstruction'

  • Jordan Hall

A study of the iconic Nike Air Force 1 trainer, a timeless piece of sneaker, Hip-Hop and streetwear history. The physical process involved dissecting the shoe by hand, reassembling and suspending the individual panels using clear fishing wire and then finally hanging the resultant sculpture upside down in a studio and photographing it. The digital input was minimal: simply removing any highlight reflections from the suspending wires and some minor retouching of any blemishes and imperfections.
