This is one of the first projects I ever created for univeristy, I only had a day to complete the brief and I still enjoy the outcome.
Inspired by the Grecian staircases of old Hollywood musical numbers, I played with the idea of hands, incorporating handmade and hand-rendered elements to create the final image. This is one of my favourite pieces of first year work.
Instead of photographing a lavish, expensive product… or food (tempting, as I’m always hungry!) I looked at what we like to treat ourselves to and what we can allow ourselves to covert on a student budget.
