Objects in Transition

OBJECTS IN TRANSITION Objects have always served as an accurate reflection of history. Either due to their function or aesthetical value, objects are representation of human creativity and evolution. This project, Objects in Transition, is a reflection on jewelry that was passed to me through both of my grandmothers. Objects seem to be a tool to induce fragments of one’s memory but they are also a reflection of your own existence. As Sherry Turkle wrote in the book Evocative Objects, ‘We think with the objects we love, we love the objects we think with’. This explains how an object may become a moral, emotional and intellectual tool for reflection.
