One For Sorrow

For my Final Major Project at Arts University Bournemouth, I created a children's book following the poem, 'One For Sorrow'. The poem follows the folktale that you gain certain luck from how many magpies you see together. ​I wanted to celebrate the stories I grew up with, such as this poem, and to combine them into a contemporary children's book for a newer generation that may have forgotten such folklore.
