It was launched on Valentine’s Day 2013 with a boozy evening of typographic swearing and cursing for friends, clients and journalists in the Type Tasting studio in an old chocolate factory in East London. Suitable for all, no experience needed and you can join this virtual session from anywhere in the world. You will need • Scissors. • Pencil, colouring pens or marker pens. • Paper (white, coloured paper, wrapping paper or tracing paper). • Magazine pages, newspapers, anything with large letters that you can cut up and collage with. • Alphabet stencils, rubdown lettering or any other equipment you can use to create letters or typography (optional). • Sticky tape, masking tape or a glue stick. • Cardboard, a drawing board or something to put your paper on so you don’t damage your desk. • Anything else you have that you can make marks with. Camera on! You're encouraged to have your camera on for the live session because this is a fun, interactive and social Zoom session. My sessions are created to feel like we're all in the same room together. However, if you feel uncomfortable having your camera on or have internet issues you're still very welcome to join the session.
