Personal Project - Creating a new brand identity for a womxns gym to stand out against the stereotypical masculine colours and ‘beach body’ advertising. The name ‘onward strength’ came from the idea that a modern gym should be focussing on mental as well as physical health as they are oftern closely linked. I wanted to create a brand that featured simple geometric shapes that could be used as building blocks for the journey the members would take. The idea was to expand upon the idea of community, and getting more out of your gym membership than just aiming to lose weight or tone up. This is reflected in the language and photography used, showing all the elements the brand offers.
