Diffusion - mini collection H&M - a Swedish multinational clothing retail company - are not shy of speaking out politically as they have done for issues such as women's working rights etc. Now in a time of Brexit uncertainty they have been with with profit declines and would proudly collaborate with an anti-brexit collection, such as "OPPOSED". The Autumn/Winter collection will be re-contextualised to appeal to H&M's customer base. Inspiration for this diffusion collaboration began with a carry on of Peter Howson's artwork. To adapt to a more commercial market sector the inspiration will be less confrontational and look at being proud of what Britain has to offer such as our romantic landscapes. To fuse these two inspirations painted watercolour landscapes were looked at which influenced the colour palette. Florence Welch, one of Britain's top musicians, was chosen as an ambassador of this collection as her organic aesthetic blends well with the inspirations along with her style being fitting with H&M's vibe. ***This collection was part of a university class, H&M were not involved in the project
