Part of the Oxjam Cheltenham Takeover 2013 core team. I was responsible for obtaining sponsorship for the event, as well as coordinating all fundraising activities. The takeover received no funding so as the Fundraising Coordinator it was my role to secure sponsorship, and fundraising events so that we had sufficient funds to run and promote the event. The Takeover itself, took place in October, and raised £2,000 for Oxfam, through live music concerts in venues across Cheltenham. Leading up to the Takeover, there are many fund-raising events to take place, all to raise vital funds for the Takeover and Oxfam.
