Pre- Collection

Inspired by Romany Gypsies and the Travelling communities around the world this collection takes inspiration from the nomadic lifestyle. The silhouettes are inspired from the interiors of these communities' homes alongside the fabric and colour choices which are inspired by their cultural dress. Focusing on fortune tellers and palm readers I took particular interest in the mystical traditional side of some of these communities. Finding interest in tarot cards and the way the fortune teller travellers dressed including their jewellery they were often adorned in.
