A concertina publication: a narration of our relationship with the forest.
Paper Planes Exhibition - UCA Farnham 2018
Made up of black and white editorial images in a variety of materials and textures, the images reflect the varying forests and trees and the contexts of how trees are perceived.
Each piece of either fiction or non-ficton text has been carelful researched, edited and arranged to reflect the forest. Each piece has a collaged word which reflects a key theme such asthe atmosphere, relationship, texture or context.
The book can be arranged in many ways. It is best read as an object but it can also be read in a normal book format. The end pages when put together create a gateway into a clearing of the forest.
Each image is an emotional and atmospheric response to the text. Because of the variation, each reader responds and connects to the book differently.
