Commissioned by the Photographers gallery, London based designer/creative's Georgina Johnson's self directed film Saint - The Empty Pose is a visual response to the America's groundbreaking Opera Four Saints in Three Acts.
Johnson's stirring 4 minute short contemplates the meaning of Saint; what it means to worship and be prayed to. The film is gorgeous interplay of fashion directed styling and theatre, combined with an experimental scoring composed by Lilian Nejatpour and Johnson herself. A visually alluring expression of the Avant-garde illustrating Johnson's interdisciplinary talent.
As part of the Photographers Gallery's current exhibition Four Saints in Three Acts - A Snapshot of the Avant Garde.
