SUSHISAMBA London, the acclaimed restaurant located on the 38th and 39th floors of 110 Bishopsgate, celebrated Carnaval with a spectacular party hosted to introduce the brand’s new partnership with the charity Cool Earth. Cool Earth works alongside indigenous villages to halt rainforest destruction.
Following an afternoon spent visiting Julian Assange, Cool Earth Ambassador Pamela Anderson kicked off the celebration with a speech to declare her support for the charity, followed by a party for 500 guests where DJs Vibeambassadors spun tunes for a crowd including Jamie Campbell Bower, Clara Paget and Matilda Lowther. Kelis stole the show with a live performance including classic hits Milkshake and Trick Me. Pamela and Kelis were both dressed for the event exclusively by long time Cool Earth supporter Vivienne Westwood.
Guests were served NV Bruno Paillard Extra Brut champagne, signature cocktails and a SUSHISAMBA menu including dishes made using ingredients grown and harvested in the Peruvian rainforest by the Asháninka, Peru’s largest indigenous group.
