SATURN // Typeface

Saturn is heavy, sans serif typeface intended for display. Saturn was inspired by Saturn’s rings and the graphic illusions of M.C. Escher. The typeface is a modular design made solely of squares and semi circles. Examples of use are headlines and advertisements. The typeface comes in both uppercase and lower case, in regular and outline. The typeface also includes numbers and a selection of special characters. I used the program Fontself to create a font available for use. I created a poster and specimen sheet to promote the typeface.
