Hosting the 2019 BAFTA gaming nominees party, POWER UP is a 2 week interactive commercial event held at the Science Museum to celebrate the games industry. Briefed to design a simple timeline. I pushed the small budget to produce a pixel experience that will now travel to other Science Museum Group sites over the next year. Linking the marketing and spacial design through colour, I used lighting, projection and printed graphics to create a ‘gradient of pixels’ across the space. This piece of event design included wayfinding, educational touch points and interactive exhibits all resulting in a successful celebration of gaming.
