Skateboarding is more sought after than ever, but for those who don’t feel represented in the predominantly male skate culture, giving skateboarding a go can feel quite intimidating. That’s why Marie started Skate Gals & Pals, a collective of skaters from marginalised communities. Together they have carved out a safe and diverse space within the skateboarding world.
