A series that I produced and directed between 2009 and 2012. These were media partnerships that Sky Arts did with UK arts organisations.
I managed, produced and directed films with a range of galleries, museums and organisations including the ENO, V&A, Turner Contemporary in Margate and National Theatre. There was a particular focus on regional arts organisations which meant I travelled the country interviewing artists, curators and gallery owners. I made films with Northern Ballet in Leeds, Open Eye gallery in Liverpool, The Dance festival in Dublin and travelled across the country for the Art Fund Prize to find Britain's best gallery or museum.
I worked with the marketing departments of each organisation as well as Sky's own CSR team and channel commissioners/directors to deliver films that told engaging stories about the creative process during the run up to the opening of a new opera, ballet, exhibition or performance. The work was about providing content for the organisation and their audiences as well Sky's linear broadcast and online platforms.
