SQUEAKEASY

Based on the Aesop fable “Belling the Cat”, this stop motion animation took an interesting turn of a gangster theme made in the style of film noir. The whole story is based around the small mouse hole inside the Italian restaurant named “Il Grande Formaggio”. Inspired by the Italian flag, the colour of the exterior is divided into red and green. Larger scaled objects are used inside the mouse hole to replicate the found objects from humans as well as it shows a sense of scale.
