Stormbringer - Novel

  • Daniel Shellard

Beaten, broken and scarred for life, Shango was born a slave, sold and traded for labour amongst the Aslanian race, forced to work endless plantations of cotton and sugar. When Elegula, a short, eccentric man afforded emancipation to him, Shango promised loyalty to him until his dying breath. His promise was short-lived, for a great storm destroyed their ship, separating the two. Shango awoke alone, finding himself washed up on the shore of a distant island. When he witnessed a group of slaves being auctioned off to a strange grey-skinned breed of people known as the Kaldari, Shango mercilessly murdered the bidders, freeing the slaves in the process. Shango soon discovers that the island is not how it appears to be, and the Kaldari are a race of slave masters like none he had known before. Stormbringer is a fantasy novel about love, betrayal, adventure and magic, set in a unique, wondrous world. The novel spans 140,000+ words.
