Strongroom Bar's Menu Redesign
After years of trialing a range of various pop-up kitchens at Strongroom Bar, they made the decision to bring this back to being in-house. The management and kitchen team came together with a menu idea that suited Shoreditch's late night custom and I came up with a range of mock up designs that I thought matched their criteria. I used their in-house font for the text to keep it in theme with the rest of the design work and created a simple layout that was easy to read at all times of the day. The unique artwork was handed to me by the venue which I grey-scaled and made slightly transparent so it didn't interfere with the text.
After creating the design, we then trialed a number of paper types and colours to see which would suit best with the rest of the venues busy and psychedelic surroundings.
The final decision was made on the darker, charcoal grey to match the screen printed slates featured in both of their main bars.
