The Alike App

Alike is a game-changing charity created to combat the loneliness and isolation caused by cancer. As an innovative and transformative not-for-profit organisation, Alike aims to utilise and harness digital technology to achieve its mission. In February 2021, Alike launched a brand new iOS and Android peer support platform for cancer patients and survivors. The app ensures that peer support is available any time, any place, and at any stage of cancer. This app is the first of its kind, and has already received an incredible response from the cancer community, the charity sector, and the wider public. Since launch, we have amassed a community of over 1,600 cancer patients and survivors. Inspired by other social media platform, we have worked to create something bespoke for the cancer community. Our platform is a focused companion throughout diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and beyond.
