The Chase
Run-away from the police while solving crimes of the past. Created as part of "Hacking the past - An archives Game Jam".
There are very few ways in which people can transcribe quickly and on the go, in this hackathon, we made an interactive game that makes the transcription of archival documents more exciting and fun.
Using word images from The National Archive, we created a prison escape-based endless runner. This was inspired by the 1981 game Frogger. We made this cross platform, available for both PC and mobile platforms.
