The Cycle

A book for anyone going through grief. So, all of us.

The Cycle is a book for anyone going through grief. A recording of the four years after my mother died. Poems, observations, conversations. Grief can be as sad as it sounds, but you can find clarity, forgiveness, yourself laughing.

The Cycle is chaptered by the Five Stages of Grief which are misunderstood to mean that grief ends, that you move on. Grief keeps spinning, changing every time you move through it. Grief is a cycle, and we’re all on it.

You can spin The Cycle through a pocketbook and website. The experiences are designed to help you get along with grief and find the beauty in it.

The book is ring-bound; the website is an endless scroll. Like grief, The Cycle keeps spinning, changing every time you go through it.
The book is pocket-sized, and the website is built for phone, so that you can carry it with you, just in case.
The book comes with a highlighter-fineliner, the website with a drawing tool, so that you can make The Cycle your own.
