THE DEVIL

As part of an ongoing tarot card project, I present to you THE DEVIL. Based off the traditional Rider-Waite Tarot cards and their meanings, my aim is to re-visualise the cards and their messages in my own authentic style - incorporating sci-fi, surrealist and ancestral themes. THE DEVIL symbolises raw desire and points to the negative aspects of excess pleasure, dealing with themes of sex, materialism and addiction. THE DEVIL is not a separate entity, but rather the animalistic part of us that becomes entrapped and attached to things that feel good but have potential to do harm.
