The magic of the Unexpected: Factors that drive to Liberation and Transformation in the Event Experience.

  • Pietro Arcelloni
This project was related to my experience as a volunteer at the Boom Festival in Portugal. Here I went to investigate sociological and anthropological factors that influence the journey of participants into the experience and the community that there is created. The focus is specifically of the liberation that people (participants, customers) experience on the field, creating connections, expressing themselves in new ways, ultimately fostering a positive outcome. This positive outcome, which is emotionally relevant, consist with the complex of positive feelings that, in relation to an experience, create the affection and the optimal experience for the participant.
Ultimately, a model that tries to articulate the phases through which the immersion, engagement and involvement of the participant though the experience is presented, highlighting the final result, which is an authotelic self transformation
