'TRAP'

‘TRAP’ is a concept piece designed to symbolise the entrapment of marriage.
The idea of being with one person for your whole life is essentially, a trap. It can be seen as a way to keep someone close and never let them go. It can also be a way to kill someone and cause pain and suffering to a life by going through hardships and worrying struggles.
This trap can be read in two ways - you take the ring, get trapped and live through suffering. But it could also be seen as you take the ring and you die together with the one you love. There’s an end to everything in life, maybe being trapped is a safe haven and is security as opposed to entrapment.
This piece shows there are always two sides to every story and a concept never needs to have one sole meaning.
