When exploring such a beautifully overwhelming city such as Paris, one may wish to escape from the typical tourist activities and attractions. During a visit to Paris, I explored the lesser known splendours of the city; specifically gardens, markets, fabric stores and quaint backstreets. This was then translated into a collection of high fashion fabrics with transparent qualities, beading and embroidery. The fabrics feature a combination of modern and traditional embellishment techniques including sublimation printing and hand embroidery.
