The Brief Our world is constantly evolving and businesses must keep pace with change. How do we keep trade flowing in a world that demands ever greater speed and sustainability? FlowLab challenges students to implement new innovations in trade logistics to make DP World’s carbon neutral goal a reality. The faster and more sustainably they work, the lower the carbon footprint drops. They will be tasked with shipping items all around the globe, including to carbon-storing mangroves in Ecuador. From new hybrid tech in ports to the frictionless velocity of Cargospeed, DP World is pioneering a more sustainable future. My involvement This was an exciting immersive experience that used a combination of interactive technology, physical props and special effects. I loved working on the UI of the game, from start to finish, providing the technical team with all the assets. I designed the UI, to complement the gameplay narrative by making it challenging and fun for kids, while ensuring the key educational messages on sustainability and carbon emissions, came across. Important things I had to consider, were the seamless integration of physical and digital whilst following the brand guidelines. Client: Dubai Expo Direction: The Open Lab UK
