In 2016, Inkling partnered with Atlassian to deliver Ignite; a program for emerging leaders to equip them with the know-how to navigate the invigorating, rewarding but often challenging world of leadership. This program is designed to inspire people early in their leadership journey and set them on a pathway of extraordinary and sustained success and fulfilment.
Twelve women participated in the program; attending a two-day workshop and a group coaching session. The results from our evaluation of the program are detailed on the following page.

The Ignite Program achieved significant outcomes for Atlassian. The results outlined below speak for themselves. Summary of the key outcomes that participants saw from the Ignite Program were:
Increased understanding of strengths. 100% of participants reported that the program had helped them to understand their strengths and how to apply them at work, compared to 45% prior to the program.Greater confidence in self. 92% of participants reported that Ignite had given them confidence in their skills and abilities and willingness to back themselves.
Improved understanding of how to manage barriers. 58% of participants reported that they were aware of how to manage barriers that hold them back in their life and career. Prior to the program, no participants felt they had that they were able to do so.
Greater resilience. 100% of participants reported that Ignite had helped them to build resilience.
Tools to stop holding self back. 83% of participants reported that they have tools and strategies to stop holding themselves back in their life and career, compared to 9% prior to the program.
Skills to take on a more senior role. 59% of participants felt that they had the skills o take on a more senior role, compared with 27% prior to the program.
Clearer career objectives. 59% of participants reported having clear career objectives for the next 6-12 months after the program, compared with just 18% prior to Ignite.
Increased confidence in leadership abilities. 67% of participants felt confident that they had the skills and abilities to be an outstanding leader, compared to 37% before the program.
