ProWritingOne is the ultimate distraction free, minimalist editor. Enter a word count goal, and once you start, all you see is the last character you typed and your progress towards your word count goal. No re-reading, no editing, no correcting typos, no stopping. Just write.
The design created follows a clean, minimalistic approach with a limited color scheme and Sans-Serif fonts with a large weight for an easier scanning of the application by the user. The contrast between the light neutral background elements and the UI elements makes the application more accessible.
For this project, the client had the following requests:
- The Intro Screen. Describes the app and allows the user to get started. This is only shown if the user hasn’t used the app before.
- The Goal Settings Screen. Allows the user to set a target word count for that session.
- The Writing Screen. Where the user does their writing.
- The Sessions Screen. Where the user sees their previous sessions.
