About me
Telling stories has been an obsession of mine for as long as I can remember.
This started with me writing plots and creating characters. It has developed into helping brands tell narratives to engage customers and find their unique identity.
My love for content, in all its many forms, ties into this obsession of mine, as it allows me to powerfully communicate ideas with audiences. I have created and produced content for both B2B and B2C marketing with organisations in sectors ranging from the arts, to fashion, to education. Despite the different audiences and goals these projects had, there are some essential questions that linked all of them. These are: who is the target demographic and how do they interact with the world, how can the budget be used most effectively, where is the content going to be placed, when are key deliverables due, what are realistic, measurable targets the whole team can agree on. Finally, whether I am working on internal communications, promotional videos or an international awareness campaign, how can I make this work fun, original and memorable?
Building on my extensive knowledge of content production I am also an experienced digital strategist, having worked on both brand strategies and campaign strategies. I enjoy the combination of both data analysis and creativity this work requires. Additionally, strategy gives me a brilliant opportunity to really get to know a company, be flexible to their business needs and make a lasting impact, which I find incredibly rewarding.

The brief was to create a series of assets to promote talks on Sri Lanka. The primary audience is 45-65 year olds, who are affluent, educated and cultured.
