Anyone know great sites to create a portfolio/website that don’t cost an arm & kidney? 😅

- I have used a few different options over the last 15 years. If you want simplicity and don't have any web knowledge then Squarespace or maybe Format are good options. Price is reasonable, however the first year is usually cheaper so be prepared for them to be slightly more expensive on renewal.A site using wordpress is also a great idea, you can get webhosting for next to nothing, buy a theme you like and have a ready made site installed in a few minutes. I would also say that for Search engine optimisation, Wordpress is great due to the plugins you can install (for free) to help. Most peoples websites are now their portfolio, so sometimes spending a little more is better in this instance. I hope this helps, best of luck with it.
- I use Notion (free) and then plug it into super.so. They even offer free web templates 😇
- Check out Semplice for more creative options. Otherwise Adobe/Behance (as mentioned here before) is good value for money.
- Webflow you can make some pretty slick sites. Or Semplice, and you only pay once for that, as opposed to monthly. (You will still have to pay hosting)
- thank you all for your suggestions, much appreciated!
- @Sarah Boris 100% agree!!
- Agree with most on here.Adobe portfolio is perfect if you already have an account with them. I'm also a Squarespace fan. Both options are great.
- If you have Adobe use their Adobe portfolio option. It's really easy to use and you can make a clean website. I found it more intuitive and clear than a lot of others I tried using in the past.
- Behance, Adobe Portfolio. You can connect both.
- Squarespace is the best one, the price is fair and cheap annully.
- I've used Squarespace in the past and found it to be pretty reasonable price wise. I think you get a small discount too if you sign up using the Dots although dont quote me on that! :)
- https://carrd.co/ is very good, also Zyro is worth taking a look at too due to its potential.
- Readymag is lit
- I would say readymag
- Hey Rebekah, hope you are well. I’d be happy to chat to you about your project. Happy to work on strategy with you if you want to do the build.
- myportfolio.com is quit good , from Adobe
- Wix.com has a lot of options and is affordable (they're always doing flash sales for 50% off too)
- Squarespace is pretty reasonable!
- @Anna Pluskota thanks Anna!
- @Sahra Mohamed thanks for that!
- @David Willis thank you!
- There's Carrd.co that has a bunch of free templates or you can make your own. Also Zyro.com which is an affordable and very easy to use website builder.
- Behance is pretty much free, established and already has plenty of traffic going through it.Ok, is not specifically a website builder, but what real and specific functionality you need from a portfolio website that a platform like behance might be lacking?
- Currently free Adobe Portfolio:) It’s very simple but can do the job.You can look www.annapluskota.com
