- Be the person you want on your team. Turn in work on time, to the highest quality you can. Keep showing up, keep trying to do better. There's always something new to learn. Remind yourself every now and again why you do this: it might be hard work and take a while to get the rewards, but it's the best job in the world.
- Stay focused, curious and humble.
- Reputation is *nearly* everything. At the end of the day, people work with people. So, you've got to learn how to work well with others, and communicate!Word gets around. So, do good, and good will come back to you. x
- That you need to define what 'success' really means to you.
- Patience and resilience are keys to it all!
- For me its: Be very clear on your own boundaries and stick to them.
- The most important lesson. It’s really hard, but extremely rewarding. Building a creative career takes creativity, focus and resilience.
- Follow your curiosity, and pay attention to the things that pique your interest, because they will give you clues to what's going to be important on your career ahead. You might not know how at the time, but there is always a reason why you find something interesting ;-)
- Like investing— it's not about timing the market, it's about time in the market.Keeping going is the biggest aspect that will affect your output and outcomes.Creativity is best described as 'not knowing' — so if you don’t know, and can’t know what's coming, the best plan is to plan to keep on keeping on.
