Which LGBTQ+ rising stars do you admire most? Let us know, so we can celebrate them on The Dots!

We still have a way to go when it comes to LGBTQ+ diversity and representation in the creative/tech/digital industries – which is why it is so important for us as a platform to use our force for good.

We celebrate and promote LGBTQ+ talent all throughout the year, including via our list of brilliant LGBTQ+ leaders:

https://the-dots.com/users/search/list/1358

This is definitely not an exhaustive list, so we’re always looking to unearth more incredible talent to highlight, feature and promote, so we can help them get the recognition and opportunities they deserve.

With this in mind, we’d love to know who are your top LGBTQ+ rising stars, so we can celebrate those who are transforming the industry of today and inspiring the generation of tomorrow.
We’ll then feature this incredible talent in July – including publishing our annual LGBTQ+ rising star list for 2021!

To nominate simply @ mention them in the comments below.

Thank you so much in advance for this!

Pip

  • OK, so she's been around for a bit but I want to put her forward. She's been supporting LGBTQ+ since her early days and she has always been out there for inclusive narratives, daring stories, challenging ways of showing age in showbiz and independent / alternative forms of filmmaking. Drum roll, excitement, tension.... The nominee is @KateWinslet !
  • @Henri T's photography beautifully captures underrepresented groups – often exploring queerness & deconstructing the gender binary

  • I have started a platform @nafs.space for creative Queers from the SWANA Region. I have been working very hard at this to showcase queers from this region. After having worked in the creative industries in london for 10 years- I feel there is a lack of representation, so i took matters into my own hands and created this platform. :)

  • Far from a rising star, but I feel that @Kate Winslet deserves a mention here for all that she says in her interviews regarding her strong support for the LGBTQ+ .... & her recent film 'Ammonite'. She always stands strong along side LGBTQ+. This is one of the reasons I admire her the most.
