A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Director who has extensive experience working with design and creative teams in a fast-paced, studio led environment.
Working in partnership with our Creative Services client as part of a global service, the Account Director will lead the London design studio team to create powerful and impactful work across internal communications, events, social, print, and brand campaign deliverables for clients across HR, Marketing and Events. The AD will form strong strategic relationships with key clients to manage delivery from brief to execution.
THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF...
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the on-site studio. Ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget, pushing the teams to deliver best in class work, ensuring quality control and building positive client relationships through timely and clear communication between clients and the design team.
The account is busy and will require somebody with lots of energy, a can-do attitude, ability to manage many different work streams and priorities and have a hands-on approach to get the job done.
The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills across all levels of business and proven experience of managing teams and conflicting projects and priorities. You will be liaising and dealing directly with senior clients and managing teams of people.
ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING
You will work directly managing a team of six people including Designers, Motion Graphics and Project Managers, reporting into the Global Business Director. As part of a wider team of over 140 dedicated to the client, you will also lead and manage global projects and processes – partnering with colleagues in New York and Mumbai to provide an efficient service to clients.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE
Develop and grow credible and productive relationship with clients
Strong and confident escalation point for key clients and team
Represent the agency in a professional manner in all Client contact
Understand the importance of the brand and working within brand guidelines
Have a deep understanding of the client business; their needs, expectations, and requirements to provide the best service and solutions through collaboration with the client
Work closely with clients to create strong concepts from initial briefing
The ability to drive and motivate a team and run a project through to successful completion
The skill to run meetings and take responsibility for service levels and KPIs
Proactively resolve problems and escalate issues
Identify opportunities for new services and process optimisation
Producing of MI and financial reports from our workflow tool (OMG)

Good negotiating and conflict resolution skills, tact and diplomacy
Experience on fast paced high deliverable accounts
Experience working with blue chip clients
Experience of working in a studio environment with basic understanding of design software
Experience with workflow and resourcing tools
Experience in managing client relationships across all levels
The ability to identify challenges, mitigate risks within them, and reach solutions
Executional rigour, whilst being competent in multitasking, with great organisational skills
Experience in professional/financial sector is a bonus
