About

The Photography Foundation was created to provide pathways to professional photography for less advantaged young adults in London by offering education, practical experience and routes to a career in the creative industries. We‘re here to show that photography can be used as a vehicle for social change: by offering free training, support and practical experience, we can empower less advantaged young adults to turn their talent into employment and launch a sustainable and fulfilling creative career. TPF centres around our training programme, which is open to young adults aged 18-25 from less advantaged and under-represented backgrounds in London. Our programme aims to create a supportive and inspiring environment where the trainees can master the basics of professional photography, develop a portfolio tailored to their career aspirations, and gain as much practical experience as they can. The goal? To support our trainees in every way as they begin to carve out their careers in the creative industries.
