For October’s edition of TPF Talks we’re excited to be hosting a very special panel in celebration of Black History Month. The panel will host Black creatives, activists & educators who will share their career journeys, their experiences of navigating the industry, and their stories & tips – whilst opening up a space for a wider conversation centred around wellbeing and community. The panel Fikayo Adebajo will be facilitating the panel. She is a visual artist from Lagos who is based in London. Fikayo is a member of the Barbican’s Young Visual Artist Group, an alumni of TPF's Training Programme and Assistant Curator at Tate. Myah Jeffers is a Barbadian-British multi-disciplinary artist working across photography, film, and theatre. Her work explores the notion of “truth” within Black diasporic experiences. Virgilia Facey is the founder of The Colour Balance, a platform widening access to photography for BIPOC communities. She is also the co-founder of They Gather, a creative production company connecting brands to inclusive shoot teams and diverse creatives.
