A creative response to D&AD's Twitter Brief: Develop a PR First Idea that Spotlights the #ReteroGaming community on Twitter. My outcome was to create an application, directly linked to Twitter, that would allow users to create their own 8-BIT style character. Users will then be able to click the "8-BIT Better" button on a Twitter feed and use this character in a retro inspired scroller game, that has been constructed directly out of the layout of the feed. The campaign would also feature a physical place for retro enthusiasts to meet and hang out; the 8-BIT Better booth at London Comic Con. The booth will be an arcade space as well as a place to buy customised merchandise of your character.
