Stepping upto the plate in the growing world of Vietnamese cuisine, Anjoy was created with the view of bringing the authenticity of their relatives' cooking to London. Their focus - the fresh, vivid flavours of Vietnamese cuisine. After creating a bright contemporary space that still evoked traditional Vietnam, Anjoy got in touch as they were looking to further this ambience with their identity, as well as add a pop of colour. Research found that Vietnam’s national animal and bird are the Water Buffalo and Red Junglefowl, so these became a large element in the design. As well as a roundel which was inspired by a bowl of Pho. The client was so pleased with the elements of their identity as well as the fresh ingredient evoking colour palette that they became part of the hand painted murals.
