This project is designed for Automotive Interiors. It was inspired by colours and motif on the exterior if BTCC race cars. I took colours and motifs to create drawings and inform my weaves.
I used various different materials such as Cotton, Silk and Steel, Polypropylene and Car Upholstery yarn. I used wide range of colours over and black and blue warp, this allowed me to create many different samples from one warp. This was my first intensely coloured collection designed for Automotive Interiors, breaking that boundary of plain dark colours commonly used with current interiors. All designs created on a digital loom.
